Free Consulting
The Sectorspace.org Consulting Programme pairs talented business students and professional consultants with voluntary and charitable organisations in project-based consulting partnerships. The programme is designed to help increase their organisational capacity by providing them with direct access to free business consulting.
- Pairings last for the duration of a project
- Three organisations receive pro-bono work at any one time
- Revenue based sliding scale fees are offered to organisations who do not want to wait for a spot to become available
Consulting services can include:
- Organisational development and change
- Organisational assessment and evaluation
- Organisational "turnarounds"
- Board development
- Strategic planning and facilitation
- Business development (including earned-income)
- Resource development (including fundraising
- Leadership and supervisory development
- Programme development, marketing and evaluation
- Capacity building programme design and development
- Peer learning programs
Selection Criteria
Business Students
Students are selected for participation based on a variety of factors including professional experience and dedication to community service.
Consultants
Professional consultants from top consulting firms work through Sector Space, CIC to provide guidance and oversight on projects.
Charities, Voluntary organisations and other Third Sector Groups
Projects are selected for the project's capacity-building potential and the group's demonstrated need for external support.
