Birmingham Clarion Singers have a long and fascinating history, and acknowledge the tremendous contribution given by members past and present, along with the many individuals who have given their time and energy to the choir over the past 65 years. From Dr Charles Bradsworth in 1940, Paul Robeson in the 50s, Charles Parker, Ian Campbell, Peter and Peggy Seeger, Alan Bush, Luke Kelly... the history of Clarion is packed with talented musicians, composers, singers, teachers, designers.

We don't hold auditions - we believe everyone should have the chance to sing. We meet weekly during term time, and provide free concerts and events throughout the year. We rely totally on member subscriptions and donations for our survival.
