Fee Structure
Our ideal goal is to offer free services to all charities, voluntary organisations and other third sector groups. For some of our services we have attained the ideal. For other services, unfortunately, demand far outweighs supply. These services are offered free subject to income qualifications, with sliding scale discounts being offered to organisations who exceed the free threshold.
Web Hosting for Voluntary Organisations and Charities
Web Hosting is free for organisations with an anual voluntary income of less than £80,000. Organisations with incomes over this threshold can purchase our hosting package for £50 a year.
Webdesign and Websites for Voluntary Organisations and Charities
Our web design partner, BatDesign, subsidises 100% of the majority of approved web design and website applications. The remainder are further subsidised by volunteers. To date, the vast majority of web design applications have been 100% subsidised, and we do not envision being unable to fulfill most, if not all, approved requests**. However, on the off chance that an application is submitted and
- the quota for BatDesign is full, and
- there are no volunteers available to help, and
- BatDesign (or another partner) is unable to fit the request in, and
- the applicant is unable to wait for a space to open up
then sectorspace.org can offer web development services (fulfilled by one of our development partners) on a sliding scale rate. The rate is based on your level of charity voluntary income or supplier fundraising turnover.
Normal Rates are discounted from 10% - 70% based on your voluntary income and taken from your latest annual statutory accounts.
**Whilst we strive to maintain the 'free for all' ethos on our webdesign and development offering, the programme is one of our most sought after. For organisations with voluntary income of more than £80,000 we request, and sometimes require, that the websites are hosted with us. For £50 a year, you will get a business hosting account that meets, and in many cases exceeds, hosting packages that are double the cost. The entire £50 is profit for Sector Space and is put back into our programmes. It is a great way for larger organisations to take advantage of our free programmes whilst supporting our work with smaller organisations and further strengthening the third sector as a whole.
Graphic Design for Voluntary Organisations and Charities
Our graphic design partners have been able to fully subsidise all applications to date. We expect for this to continue. However, we are negotiating discounted rate schemes similar to our webdesign scheme (see above) to provide a safety net for applicants should the situation change.
Consulting Services for Voluntary Organisations and Charities
All approved consulting applications subsidised 100%. We expect for this to continue.
Webmaster Services for Voluntary Organisations and Charities
Our partners have been able to fully subsidise all applications to date. We expect for this to continue. However, we are negotiating discounted rate schemes similar to our webdesign scheme (see above) to provide a safety net for applicants should the situation change.
Traning Classes and Workshops
Our classes are free for organisations with an voluntary income of less than £60,000. Organisations with incomes above the threshold are offered sliding scale rates.
